This organic brown Carnaroli rice by Tenuta San Carlo is among the best rice varieties. Dedicated to Achille, the great-grandfather of Samantha and Ariane (today’s owners), he was a visionary and an engineer. He was the one who saw the potential and understood the uniqueness of the marshlands of Maremma and founded Tenuta San Carlo in 1936.

Samantha and Ariane dedicate their first Organic Brown Carnaroli Rice to Achille. The large kernel and distinct flavor of this rice make it perfect for soups and salads, but also simply with a drizzle of our good Extra Virgin olive oil. The taste of this rice is the essence of Maremma in its wild and natural state.
